On April 19, 2011, over 75 Delaware home-school children from babies to high school age and their parents visited the Polk Tenant site in St. George's Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware at the request of DelDOT where RGA archaeologists were working on  Phase II archaeological investigations. The kids and parents participated in the digging and discoveries. It was a great day despite the rainy weather! The archaeological investigations are part of the U.S. Route 301 highway project.
